It's Super Easy to Make a Book in Timebox

We love making printed books and gifts for ourselves, friends and family. We made the process from your Timebox stories to photo book, poster, print or case as simple as we could. Here are the steps:

1. Tap Make a Book or Gift.
2. Tap to select the stories you want to include.
3. Tap Make & Preview.
4. Preview your book or gift to make sure it is what you have in mind.
5. Tap Print to choose either Order a Hardcover Book or Print at Home.
   1. When you order a book, you just have a few more steps to add your shipping and payment info (Apple Pay, PayPal, credit/debit card).
   2. If you choose to print at home, just tap Print on the next page and you’re done.
6. Or, tap Share if you would like to share your photo story via Message, Mail etc. or save to Evernote or Dropbox.

It takes a few days to receive a printed book or gift, but it is totally worth it. It generally takes:

• US: 7-14 days
• UK: 3-5 days
• Europe: 5-7 days
• Worldwide: 7-14 days

It’s no surprise that we love Timebox. We both have thousands of photos and stories that we add to almost every day. As we hit the runway to the holidays (if you’re not already on it) we find ourselves seeing friends and family that we haven’t seen for awhile. There are stories to be told and photos to share. 

Sharing Face-to-Face

If you are visiting with someone over the holidays, it’s easy to find and show the pics from your Summer vacation by tapping on the month in your Timebox timeline. Scroll to see all the photos, videos and maps of your adventures. Tap on a photo to see a larger version and swipe to see the next one.

Sharing On the Net

Share button

If someone you want to share with is on the internet,  it’s just as easy. From a story, tap the share button to share your story, photos and videos or tap Make Video Story and Timebox will make a sharable video for you in seconds. Share via Message, Mail or post it to the usual social network suspects.

SharinG Long-Term

We all know people who are not regularly on the internet who would love to see your photos and read your stories. Or maybe you'd like to share your photos and stories with future generations or even your future self. Printing your photos and stories is a great way to share and keep them safe. And to create treasured holiday gifts! Tap the share button to see the printing options:

1. Print at home - Tap Print to print your story and photos on your own printer.

2. Make a hardcover book - Tap Make & Buy Hardcover Book to have your Timebox photo story turned into a hardcover book and delivered anywhere in the world.
3. Make posters, photo books (without text), prints and lots of other stuff - Tap Make & Buy Printed Items and choose what you want made from your photos. Follow the prompts and a few simple steps and you’re done. 

To make ordering easy, there are three payment options for printing:

1. Apple Pay
2. PayPal
3. Credit/Debit Card

Sharing Multiple Stories

And, if you haven't tried it yet, you can also select multiple stories to be included in your Timebox Video Story or printed item by tapping Select in the upper right corner of the Timebox timeline, taping to select your stories and then tapping the Share button.

Our First Five Years!

We established Pepper Networks LLC in September 2011 to design and build the Timebox App. It took us just about 12 months to get version 1.0 ready for the App Store and then another couple of months before it was finally available.

Over the last 5 years we have learned tons of stuff about Apple, iOS, multiple generations of iPads and iPhones, a variety of development environments such as Swift, the App Store, app pricing, screenshots, video, app marketing & PR, user interfaces of all different sizes, fonts, sharing with friends, family and numerous other companies such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter etc., our customers and their photos and stories, printing, notifications, corporate finance and funding, business models, competition, iCloud, photo storage & organization, security & privacy, and digital preservation. We’re still learning and love what we do!

Even though Timebox has changed over the years (thanks to your feedback!) our goal is still the same - to help people enjoy their photos and stories so they can remember their lives.

When we show people or share specific photos or videos in our Timeboxes of our dog Clover, a trip or cutest niece or nephew they ask how we made the video, found the photo or video, about the timeline or what’s that app called again. They sometimes say Timebox is exactly what they've been looking for because they want to do stuff with their photos and need help.

One of our biggest challenges these days is getting discovered. Five years ago it wasn’t as difficult as it is today. The App Store has millions more apps than it had then. We’re a small, family-owned company with limited marketing resources and we count on word-of-mouth recommendations. Hearing about Timebox from a friend is the best.

We’ve got designs for Timebox 5.0 and are just getting started. Can’t wait to tell you more about it when we're a little further along.
