According to our customer, she wanted to make a poster for a friend using some of the pictures of doors that she takes on her many travels. She had to gather the photos into one Timebox story since they had been taken over many years of travel. 

She created a new story by tapping the new story button and then tapped Add Photos to add photos from the Photos App. She had already chosen the specific photos she wanted on the poster and favorited them in the Photos App to easily add them to her Timebox story from the Favorites Folder. 

She wanted the photos in a particular order so she used the Arrange button to move them around. Once she was satisfied, she tapped Print, then Printed Gift, then Posters and chose her size. She had 24 photos so the A2 Collage was perfect. She went through the checkout process (Free Shipping!) and completed her purchase.

Her friend loved the poster and our customer couldn’t believe how easy it was to make.

Using a Timebox Shared Journal for Family Memories

Timebox shared journals enable groups of people, whether family, friends, professionals, clients or traveling companions, to collaborate and co-edit their photos, videos and notes.

Here’s an example of how Timebox is being used to organize, edit and share years of scanned family photos.

I’m not exactly sure how this happened but I ended up with 1000s of unorganized, multi-generational family photos going back to the early 1900s. Some of the photos have dates printed on them, some have names on the front, some have names and dates on the back and some don’t have anything. i know who most of the people are but not where the photos were taken or when. 

I've scanned lots of the photos so far and they appear in Timebox on the date they were scanned - a bit messy. However, I have 6 siblings and 2 parents who have been invited to view, edit and organize all the photos. All of us can add notes and  captions, move the photos around, add locations, make movies and print any of the photos as individual prints, hardcover books and other gifts.

My hope is that my mom who knows the most about the photos will add her memories. By the way, in her mid-eighties my mom has an iPhone and iPad, reads ebooks, texts and is totally tech-enabled! Go Mom!

As time allows I’m adding the information from the photos to Timebox. I’m also trying to organize the photos by date and location.
