Wintry Scenes From a Swedish Wonderland

At the onset of the coronavirus pandemic, with travel restrictions in place worldwide, The New York Times launched a new series — The World Through a Lens — in which photojournalists help transport you, virtually, to some of our planet’s most beautiful and intriguing places.

This week, Marcus Westberg shares a collection of images from his home country of Sweden.

Visiting Sweden and seeing the northern lights has been at the top of our travel list for years. We are indeed transported by Marcus Westberg's story and photos and are looking forward to seeing Sweden for ourselves soon.

We're excited about saying so long to 2020 and optimistic about  a vaccinated 2021! We wish you a truly fabulous New Year!

Austin Mann reviews the new iPhone 12 Pro Max Camera from Zion NP

A couple of weeks ago we had Austin Mann’s review of the iPhone 12 Pro Camera. His review of the iPhone 12 Pro Max Camera from Zion National Park just came out and here it is.

This time he focuses more on the hardware upgrades notably the bigger sensor, longer telephoto lens and a new sensor shift stabilization technology. HIs photos and videos are amazing and reading this will make you want to hike the Narrows (be sure to check the weather first!).

As always, his review is full of useful information and helpful tips especially if you want to shoot better in low light.

• Support for iOS 14 features:

  • Allows Photo Library “Limited Access” for specifically selected photos. This is a new Apple requirement that provides additional security for you.

  • Note for current Timebox users: When you launch this version on the new iOS, iPadOS 14.x and macOS 11.x, you will be prompted by the OS to re-confirm that Timebox can continue access to your Photos. To continue seeing all your existing photos and stories choose Allow Access to “All Photos” by Timebox. If you choose Do Not Allow, all the photos will disappear from Timebox.

  • New Photo Library photo chooser.

  • New sidebar user interface.

• The Photo Library collage is now optional and not automatically created for new Timebox users. New users can easily create a Photo Library collage using the template.
