Apple's New Legacy Contact Feature
Nobody likes talking about death but we all know it happens. We've been in the position of trying to access someone's digital life after they died and it's impossible and frustrating unless you find or guess their passwords. In iOS 15.2 (in beta at the time of posting) Apple will make this easier for all of us with the new Legacy Contact feature.

According to the article your Legacy Contact will have access to the following data plus the ability to remove Activation Lock from your devices:
